This well-established construction business in Stockport is seeking a Document Controller to join their team on a temporary basis to help support with ongoing projects.
Your new role:
- You will be responsible for providing support to the construction, site and office teams.
- You will oversee the flow of drawings, records and project documentation, making sure teams are working with the latest versions and that all information is clearly logged, organised and retrievable.
- Keeping project records up to date and overseeing documentation throughout its lifecycle.
- Monitoring updates, revisions and approvals.
- Coordinating general project administration and helping teams prepare for meetings and reviews.
- Liaising with consultants and subcontractors to secure missing or overdue information.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in document control and managing project information within the construction industry.
- Confidence working with digital document systems and project management software.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both office and site-based teams.
- Ideally, you will have previously worked with systems such as SharePoint, Viewpoint, Fieldview.
An excellent rate of up to £16 per hour, including holiday pay. Flexible start times, and opportunity to work from home 1 day a week. A role that offers variety across both project offices and live construction sites.
