We are seeking experienced housing stock condition surveyors to support the management and improvement of residential property.
Your new customer is responsible for the management and maintenance of thousands of homes, with a strong focus on delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality housing for residents.
As investment programmes continue to grow, there is increasing demand for skilled surveyors who can provide accurate stock intelligence and support long-term asset management strategy.
Your new role As a housing stock condition surveyor, you will be responsible for undertaking surveys across a varied housing portfolio, collecting and maintaining accurate stock condition data to support planned investment programmes and regulatory compliance.
Carry out stock condition surveys on residential properties.
Assess the condition, age, and life cycle of building components.
Identify repairs, defects, and health & safety concerns on the property.
Gather data to support asset management and investment planning.
Support decent homes compliance programmes.
Liaise with residents, contractors and internal stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed Experience undertaking housing stock condition surveys within a housing association, local authority or consultancy environment.
Knowledge of residential building construction and property defects.
Understanding of decent homes standards and HHSRS requirements.
Experience collecting and managing property data using asset management systems.
