A well-established and highly regarded ecological consultancy is seeking a Senior or Principal Ecologist to join its growing team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality ecological advice across the public, private and voluntary sectors, the business has secured a robust pipeline of projects extending into 2026 and beyond.

In this role, you will take on a key position within the team, combining technical expertise, project management, and leadership responsibilities:
- Leading the delivery of ecological projects from inception to completion
- Designing and managing habitat and protected species surveys
- Managing client relationships, project budgets, and timelines
Requirements:
- A degree in Ecology or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of UK (particularly Scottish) wildlife and legislation
- Proven experience in ecological consultancy, including report writing (PEA, EcIA, protected species)
- Demonstrable project management and people management experience
- Strong field survey experience
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
