New opportunity for a Tax Advisor to join a respected, mid‑sized accountancy practice in the Midlands. Clients range from owner‑managed businesses to growing regional organisations giving team members exposure to varied, meaningful work across audit, accounts, tax, and advisory.

Your new role

Working closely with the Tax Director, you'll get involved in a mixture of advisory projects, researching and preparing tax reports on a range of matters for businesses and their owners. This will mean you will gain exposure to a breadth of interesting work which could involve both private client and corporate tax matters or a chance to focus on one area to suit your interests. Projects may include working to support clients with restructuring, succession planning, inheritance tax planning, capital gains advice, renumeration planning, share schemes etc.

What you'll need to succeed

You will possess clear experience working on high-quality tax advisory projects with the ability to produce technically accurate, well-written tax reports. The ideal candidate will be fully CTA qualified. However, the firm would be keen to also consider individuals with relevant accountancy and/or tax qualifications (ACCA/ACA/ATT/part CTA) who have worked with businesses and business owners to support strategic tax planning. Your experience to date may have been more focused on either personal or corporate tax advisory work - this role will allow you to further develop your technical skills and broaden your tax knowledge. The ability to manage multiple projects and work accurately to deadlines will also be key.
