Hays are currently recruiting for a Fabric Technician to join a facilities management contract based in ST16. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, reliable technician with a strong FM background who is available to start immediately.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance across the site, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard. Typical duties may include:
- General building fabric repairs and maintenance
- Basic carpentry, patch plastering and painting
- Minor plumbing tasks
- Door, lock and fixture repairs
- Supporting wider FM teams as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have proven experience as a Fabric Technician or similar role
- Come from a Facilities Management (FM) background
- Be confident carrying out a range of building maintenance tasks
- Be reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
- Be available to start ASAP
