With a growing focus on digital transformation across its finance and tax functions, they are investing heavily in e-invoicing compliance, automation, and data-driven reporting. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking business at a critical point in its European tax and compliance journey.
Your new role as an Interim Indirect Tax Specialist involves acting as the central point of contact for e-invoicing and digital VAT initiatives across Poland, France, and Germany. This role carries a clear emphasis on Polish VAT compliance and the implementation of the KSeF framework. You'll take ownership of VAT reporting processes, ensuring full compliance while also driving improvements in data quality and automation within a SAP environment. Working cross-functionally, you will coordinate e-invoicing mandates, manage the integration of customs (import VAT) flows into reporting, and deliver robust reconciliations and variance analysis. Alongside the technical delivery, you will document processes thoroughly and ensure effective knowledge transfer, leaving a sustainable and scalable framework in place.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You will be a seasoned interim tax professional with demonstrable experience across Polish VAT and KSeF implementation.
- A strong working knowledge of wider EU VAT frameworks, particularly emerging e-invoicing mandates in France and Germany, is essential.
- Proven experience managing Polish VAT reporting and compliance.
- Strong understanding of customs-related VAT processes.
- Solid SAP expertise, with a focus on data integrity and automation.
- A hands-on, analytical approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across international teams.
- Fluency in English is essential, with Polish highly advantageous.
This is a high-impact interim assignment, ideally suited to someone who thrives in transformation environments and can bring immediate credibility and delivery into a complex European tax landscape.
What you'll get in return: Flexible / Remote working options available.
