Your new company is a global leader in supply chain and logistics, operating at the centre of international trade. With a significant presence across multiple continents, the business manages a vast network of ports, terminals and logistics hubs, enabling the smooth movement of goods between markets, industries, and consumers worldwide. Over recent years, the company has evolved beyond its heritage in ports and maritime operations to become a true end-to-end supply chain partner, offering integrated solutions across freight forwarding, transport, warehousing, and digital logistics.

Your new role involves taking real ownership of quality across a suite of business-critical systems, balancing the ongoing support and improvement of legacy applications with a shift towards a more modern, Azure-led environment. You will be embedded within Agile delivery teams and play a key role in driving end-to-end testing activity, with a strong focus on automation and performance testing, while also performing hands-on manual testing.

You'll be involved in shaping test strategy through to execution, covering system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the lifecycle. There is an opportunity to contribute to how QA evolves within the business, with a growing interest in introducing AI-assisted testing tools and practices.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A strong and well-rounded QA background, with a clear track record in both automation and hands-on testing.
  • Experience building and working with automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress, and coding in languages like Java, JavaScript or Python.
  • Practical experience of integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, with a solid understanding of version control through Git.
  • Confidence working with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling or k6, and understanding system behaviour under load.
  • Extensive experience across user acceptance testing, regression, end-to-end and API testing, as well as working with data at a SQL level.
  • Comfortable adapting your approach in an Agile environment that includes a mix of enterprise and legacy systems.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing or GenAI tools, experience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS, familiarity with BDD frameworks, monitoring tools and basic security testing principles would be beneficial.

What you'll get in return:

  • An annual bonus of up to 10% of salary, split evenly between overall business performance and individual objectives.
  • 25 days annual leave as standard, alongside a competitive pension scheme with employer contributions matched up to 6%.
  • Life assurance cover and the option to join a BUPA private medical scheme.
  • Access to Medicash and a flexible benefits platform for tailored perks and discounts.
