A well-established manufacturing business based in Taunton is seeking an experienced Interim Systems Accountant to support finance systems optimisation and ongoing transformation initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of finance systems, processes and reporting, with a focus on improving efficiency and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and optimise finance systems and processes
- Act as a key contact for systems-related queries and troubleshooting
- Assist with data integrity, reporting improvements and system enhancements
- Support system upgrades, implementations or integrations
- Work closely with finance and operational teams to drive efficiencies
- Provide user training and support to improve system utilisation
- Ensure strong controls and best practice processes are embedded
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Systems Accountant or Finance Systems Specialist
- Experience within a manufacturing or similar environment
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and financial processes
- Confident working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to support and train users
- Ability to be on-site regularly (4 days per week)
