This is a unique opportunity for a Solicitor to join an award-winning Major Trauma Services team - the first dedicated team of its kind in the UK. The work is both legally stimulating and deeply meaningful. You will support individuals and families affected by major trauma, helping them navigate the early stages of recovery, access rehabilitation and secure appropriate compensation.

You will manage your own caseload while also working closely with senior colleagues on more complex or high-value matters. The work is varied, often fast-paced, and always centred around improving outcomes for clients experiencing some of the most challenging moments of their lives. The team is known for its warmth, expertise and collaborative spirit. You will receive ongoing support, hands-on mentoring and opportunities to grow your specialist knowledge in an environment that values empathy just as much as legal skill.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • You will be a UK-qualified Solicitor with experience in personal injury or serious injury matters, likely in the region of 2-4 years' PQE, though applications from those above or below this range are equally welcome.
  • You should have experience managing your own caseload and be comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes time-sensitive environment.
  • Success in this team comes from combining technical competence with genuine empathy. You will need to communicate with clients and families clearly and sensitively, remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly when priorities shift.
  • A naturally proactive and compassionate approach is essential, as is a genuine desire to support individuals recovering from catastrophic injury.

What you'll get in return:

  • You will join a firm that places real emphasis on wellbeing, flexibility and long-term development. The culture is inclusive, thoughtful and grounded in the belief that people perform at their best when they feel supported and trusted.
  • You will have access to high-quality work, opportunities to collaborate with respected specialists and a clear pathway for career progression.
  • The firm offers a competitive salary and full benefits package, along with hybrid working options and a flexible approach to individual needs.
  • This role offers not only strong professional prospects but also the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through your work every single day.

If you are interested in this opportunity or would like to discuss it further, please get in touch for a confidential conversation. If this role is not quite the right fit but you are exploring new positions within personal injury or serious injury law, I would still be very happy to speak with you. Applications from candidates with more or less PQE than stated are welcome.
