We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ‘Good’ Secondary school located in Staffordshire. They are seeking an enthusiastic and committed social studies teacher to start in January. This is a full-time and long-term position with the opportunity of going temp to perm for the right candidate.
Role Overview:
We are seeking someone who can teach Sociology as an essential subject. The ability to teach Psychology and Criminology is highly desirable. Additional specialisms in other Humanities subjects would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Sociology.
  • Teach Psychology and Criminology (desirable).
  • Support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in Sociology.
