Your new company A well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement and supply chain activities across the organisation.

Your new role Reporting to senior management, you will take ownership of the supply chain function, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products throughout the business.
Key responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing procurement and supply chain strategies.
Leading supplier negotiations and managing key vendor relationships.
Overseeing purchasing, sourcing and contract management activities.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and logistics functions.
Analysing market trends and supply chain data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborating with finance, operations and production teams to support forecasting and inventory management.
Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring service level expectations are achieved.
Leading and developing the procurement team while promoting best practice throughout the organisation What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager or similar leadership role.
Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
Experience developing procurement strategies and delivering cost-saving initiatives.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, construction or industrial environment would be advantageous.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
