Senior Assistant Company Secretary is needed to support a leading technology-communication provider.
Your new role
We have the opportunity of a Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join our client's team in Paddington, London. The team works on a hybrid working basis and are also open to remote opportunities.
- Contract Length: Until December 2026
- Location: Paddington, London
- Daily rate: Up to £800.00 a day Umbrella (Inside IR35)
- Hours: 37.5 hours
Role Purpose
As a Senior Assistant Company Secretary, you will be providing governance leadership with accountability for PLC-Level governance, disclosure obligations and shareholder-related requirements, within a dual-listed FTSE 100 company. You will be supporting the Group Deputy Company Secretary in oversight of statutory and regulatory compliance, market disclosures and board and committee governance, ensuring robust and high-quality governance standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong technical knowledge of the UK Companies Act, UK Corporate Governance Code and UK Listing Rules
- Experience in a Corporate Secretarial function, including experience within a plc.
- Able to maintain relationships with senior stakeholders
- Proven organisational and forward-planning skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage deadlines.
- Experience within a technical environment (disclosure transparency, corporate governance code and act).
- Management experience and good at training other members of staff.
