Your new company is a specialist in the delivery of infrastructure services across the UK. The company is looking to hire a Site Manager to join them on a temporary basis, ensuring the successful delivery of a flagship scheme. This is a night shift position, with a 4-day on, 4-days-off shift pattern.
As Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of a major civil engineering project. You will:
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site.
- Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, reporting to senior management.
- Solve challenges and provide technical support when required.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Prior experience as Site Manager on Highways / Civil Schemes is essential.
- Main Contractor working history.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in using construction-related software i.e. Sharepoint.
- Gold / Black CSCS Card, SMSTS & First Aid certificates.
