You will be joining an established utilities contractor based in the Birmingham area working on multi-utility schemes for high-profile clients. This organisation offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development as well as the opportunity to work on an array of exciting projects. Having secured more work on top of their already healthy order book, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager to join their team.

Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Managing direct labour and subcontractors
  • Coordinating all day-to-day site operations
  • Maintaining an accurate site diary
  • Liaising with clients
  • Undertaking site audits and inspections
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely on time, within budget and to expected quality.

What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience in civil works within the power/utilities industry in a supervisory capacity
  • CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
  • Sound organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
