Your new company is a well-established business with over fifty years of proven success locally within the region of Ulster. Focusing on civils projects, the company is now on the lookout for a highly motivated Site Engineer to join the team based in the Mid-Ulster region of Northern Ireland. The projects will be based on renewable, electrical infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
The company is constantly looking to evolve and pride themselves on completing civil projects to a high standard whilst working with high-profile clients in the local area. This employer has numerous repeat clients which is testament to its standard of work and their ability to build relationships.
Your new role
Your new role will be as Civil Site Engineer across renewables, infrastructure and heavy civil engineering schemes across Northern Ireland from Belfast right up to the North-West.
You will play a major role as the Site Engineer in upcoming projects and will be responsible for setting out duties, supervising safety, site works supervision, keeping site records and undertaking quality control procedures.
As the Site Engineer, you will be tasked with carrying out surveying duties using a total station, laser level and GPS to a high and efficient level. In addition to this you will be trusted to maintain quality control and ensure the correct health and safety regulations are adhered to.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous Site Engineering experience within civils projects will be essential and a CSR card will be required for the role. Construction experience involving earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete, building work, ground works and landscaping will be beneficial.
A degree, HNC, HND or similar 3rd level education qualification will be required in order to be successful.
Meticulous planning ability and excellent communication skills will be needed and relationship building skills will be essential. A full UK driving licence is required for his role.
