We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Supported Housing Worker to join a dedicated team delivering vital services to individuals experiencing homelessness. This role is essential in providing safe, high-quality accommodation and support to those who need it most.
Your new role:
- Deliver a high-quality 'off the street' accommodation service for individuals rough sleeping within Mendip.
- Progress and track referrals into the service.
- Build positive and effective working relationships with relevant agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Take part in rostered systems of working between 08:00 AM and 08:00 PM, including weekends as required.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong understanding of the root causes of homelessness and social exclusion.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
- Essential: A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
