I am currently working with a global consultancy who are actively seeking a Python Developer to join a long-term project for a client in the financial services space.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Strong Python Development experience, ideally within financial services or a highly regulated environment.
- Good experience with FastAPI.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Strong experience building and integrating APIs for database management and automated workflows.
- Good Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- MUST BE able to commute into the Sheffield office 2-3 times per week.
What you'll get in return:
- In-scope day-rate dependent on relevant experience.
- Sheffield-based hybrid working.
- Initial 9-month contract with extensions.
