Working within a client-side environment, you will oversee a portfolio of strategically important projects and play a key role in shaping the future development of the organisation's estate and infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking to move into a broader programme delivery position with increased strategic responsibility.

Your new roleYou will lead the delivery of high-value capital projects from inception through to completion and provide leadership across wider programme activities.

Projects may include: New-build developmentsMajor refurbishment projectsCampus developmentsM&E estate improvement projectsSustainability and decarbonisation initiativesStrategic capital investment programmesKey responsibilities include: Developing project strategies and delivery plans.

Managing project teams and external consultants.

Leading procurement and tender processes.

Managing programme budgets and reporting.

Overseeing governance and risk management activities.

Presenting to senior leadership teams and project boards.

Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed objectives.

Driving continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

What you'll need to succeedDegree-qualified in Construction, Surveying, Engineering or Project Management.

Proven experience delivering major capital projects.

Strong client-side project management experience.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of construction procurement routes and contract administration.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills. Strong commercial, financial and governance experience.

Experience within Higher Education, Local Government, Healthcare, or other complex commercial estates environments would be highly desirable.
