We are working in partnership with a high‑performing secondary school, who are seeking a creative and motivated Art & GCSE Photography Teacher to join their department on a 0.5 permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is passionate about the visual arts and confident in delivering engaging GCSE Photography alongside Art.
The Role
- Teach Art across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE Photography
- Plan and deliver creative, well‑structured lessons that inspire and challenge students
- Assess and track progress in line with exam board requirements
- Contribute to a collaborative and forward‑thinking Creative Arts department
- Participate in enrichment activities and wider school life where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS (or is on track to achieve it)
- Has strong subject knowledge in Art and Photography
- Experience teaching GCSE Photography is highly desirable
- Is organised, reflective, and passionate about creative education
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
