Server Engineer (Remote)

A Business OSS Engineer is needed to support a leading technology-communication provider.
We have an opportunity for a Business OSS Engineer to join our client’s team . The team works on remote working basis.

Contract : until 31st March 2025 (likely to extend)
Location: Remote
Hours : 40, Monday to Friday

Ensure all processes and procedures are documented and controlled in accordance with the clients Quality process
To advise and participate in the introduction of new infrastructure elements, applications and services, including new features – liaising as necessary with other clients departments, vendors and project managers.
To provide operational consultancy to projects, always protecting the customer.
To represent Business Operations in project definition workshops, platform change control, operational reviews and meetings with other departments and vendors as required.

Administration and Implementation of Broadcom Enterprise Software (Including DX NetOps Suite, AppNeta, DX OI & UIM)
Administration and Implementation of Microsoft Technologies including Windows, SQL, DNS, IIS and Active Directory
Administration and support of Red Hat Technologies including Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 & upwards, Satellite & OpenShift.
Administration and Implementation of Virtualisation Technologies including VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM & Kubernetes/OpenShift
Scripting experience in any one or more of the following pythons, Perl, PowerShell, bash or ansible
Administration and Implementation of Citrix Technologies including ADC, ADM, XenDesktop, Storefront and Director
Hardware and Configuration Support of Server & Storage Equipment from DellEMC & Cisco
