Your new company is a college based in the Blackpool area with an excellent reputation for the high standard of education provided to students in the Fylde area. The college has a technology team of over 25, and the IT Director is looking to add a Senior Systems Developer to their well-established team.
Your new role involves reporting to the Business Systems Development Team Lead, joining a team of 6 responsible for supporting, maintaining, and developing core applications, as well as system interfaces, integrations, and APIs. The role requires experience with Microsoft SQL and troubleshooting various technologies and applications.
On a daily basis, you will provide timely, efficient, and proactive troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of incidents relating to all systems utilised across the college. This includes support with enhancements, integrations, and interfaces between existing systems, as well as involvement in the development of new systems and digital processes. You will also produce documentation related to all business systems and work collaboratively with the wider technology team and senior stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Significant systems development experience
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL and REST APIs (essential)
- Experience in other systems such as Dynamics, PowerBI, PowerApps, SSIS, and Powershell (beneficial)
