As a Senior Recruiter with Hays, you will be given the tools to succeed and have access to the UK’s largest database of candidates and clients. Hays have invested millions into their technology and are currently innovating their technology platforms in partnership with Cognizant to simplify your day-to-day role.

In this role, you will use your natural sales ability to engage with clients and candidates, creating lifelong partnerships. You will advise clients on market conditions, available candidates, and best processes. Procurement & Supply Chain is a strategic discipline, and your clients and candidates could be responsible for buying recruitment services, making lifelong partnerships crucial.

You will be responsible for nurturing existing client relationships with key Procurement contacts within London’s private sector and winning new clients through successful vacancy fills and contractual bids. Providing high-quality service, excellent communication, and matching candidate skill-sets to client needs will be essential for your success.

The Hays London City team has created a “women in procurement” networking group and hosted several successful events, with more in the pipeline that you can get involved in.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to engage with people at all levels, both internally and externally, and possess good telephone and email manners. Resilience is key, as this is not an easy job, and being confident on the phone is essential. The Hays Procurement & Supply Chain team has recently posted the highest metrics in over two years across interviews and winning new clients, making this a great time to join a busy team and earn uncapped commission.
