About the Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Recruitment Consultant to build and grow a dedicated Private Sector Audit, Risk & Compliance (ARC) interim desk. This is a newly carved-out opportunity, created to give clearer focus and deeper penetration into the private sector ARC market. With increasing regulatory pressure across audit, governance, economic crime, ESG, AI governance and consumer duty, demand for interim ARC professionals in the private sector continues to accelerate. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a developing desk with existing revenue, warm client relationships and significant headroom for growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Owning and expanding a Private Sector-focused ARC interim desk
  • Developing relationships with professional services firms, industry and regulated organisations
  • Identifying and converting interim opportunities across audit, risk, governance and compliance
  • Building strong candidate networks within ARC skillsets
  • Actively generating new business and increasing share of wallet with existing clients
  • Working closely with an experienced manager who leads a permanent ARC desk, enabling joined-up market coverage where appropriate

The Opportunity:

  • Current Private Sector temp revenue in place, with clear scope to scale
  • Ability to shape and scale a desk with autonomy, focus and leadership support
  • Strong market tailwinds driven by audit reform, ICAEW regulatory changes and wider governance scrutiny
  • Opportunity to clearly establish a private sector ARC presence alongside an existing public sector desk

What We’re Looking For:

  • Recruitment experience within temp, interim or permanent markets
  • Interest in or exposure to audit, risk, governance or compliance
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record (or clear potential) in business development
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and candidates in regulated environments
  • Motivation to build a specialist market position rather than operate a split desk
