Senior Project Manager – Capital Works, Public Sector, London, 6-Month Contract, £450 – £500 p/day Inside IR35

Your new company

A public sector organisation in London is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager for their Capital Works team to assist on a variety of different projects, at different phases. The organisation’s offices are based in a very commutable location with excellent transport links for both buses and trains. The role itself is a hybrid role with flexibility to work from home as and when needed.

Your new role

  • Manage enabling works for a large development project for new residential buildings, (stage 4) working with the development team and procured contractor.
  • This includes the works to the Creek and River wall.
  • Manage the design and build of a pier, including all procurement and contracting.
  • Manage project team meetings, and relevant stakeholder engagement.
  • Keep project/programme documentation up to date.
  • What you’ll need to succeed

  • Preferably experience having managed the delivery of similar projects – projects relating to creek and river wall repairs.
  • Experience of resident engagement and working with the
  • Good programme management skills, including keeping documentation up to date, risk registers, briefings, business cases, cashflow/ budget monitoring.
  • Experience in regeneration/development from RIBA stages 0-7
  • Experience working with relevant stakeholders such as the Port of London Authority
  • MRICs/CIOB/ Civil or Structural Engineering/ RTPI qualified and/ or substantial experience (10+ years
