Senior Project Manager to work on the New Homes Programme with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea!

Our Social Investment and Property team is at theforefront of delivering projects that drive community growth and improve our borough's infrastructure.
Your new role
The role involves leading the project management and delivery of high-value, complex capital and housing projects within the Council’s Capital Programme, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and represent value for money.
Responsibilities include coordinating the Council’s Property Strategic objectives, supporting the Programme Manager in developing an efficient capital works supply chain, and collaborating with peers and senior management for an integrated property approach.
The role also involves acting as the intelligent client in building projects, ensuring best practice in construction project management, managing stakeholders, ensuring contract adherence, and providing quality architectural, engineering, and surveying advice. Additionally, the role includes financial management, risk mitigation, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while maintaining effective communication and relationships with all relevant parties.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications:
- Property-related degree and relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Chartered Surveyor, Project Management)
- Membership in a related professional body (e.g., RICS, MAPM, tec)
- Recognised project/programme management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP).
