Your New Role: As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead a large scale service orientated project which requires an individual that has a wealth of local government experience. You will be joining at a pivotal time where there are key transformation initiatives happening, part of a full transformation programme across the organisation. You will be at the forefront of the strategic plan for future developments, taking control of the project with aims to deliver an efficient and effective partnership with the service provider, enabling better service to their customers whilst being conscious about cost savings and value for money. You will work closely with various departments, key stakeholders and external partners to achieve these goals.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Local government experience is essential
  • You will have worked at strategy level and be confident in working with senior stakeholders
  • You will have experience working with a variety of local government projects and have been successful in the delivery of required outcomes
  • You will have strong leadership experience, clear communication, be comfortable in challenging situations and bring successful resolutions to projects
  • You will need to be detail orientated, collaborative, proactive with strong initiative and the ability to manage multiple tasks to a high level of accuracy.
  • Successful experience working on complex business change and improvement projects
  • You will be PRINCE2 Practitioner Certified or equivalent
