My client has a position available for a Senior Medical Liaison Manager to join their team for a 6-month initial contract within their Medical team focusing on various therapeutic areas including Neuroscience, post-natal depression, rare diseases etc.

Your new role
As the Senior Medical Liaison Manager you will be field/customer-facing (50%). You will be the medical and scientific face of the providing field based medical/scientific support around disease area and products as deemed appropriate within the governance framework. Build valued constructive partnerships with key stakeholders within the medical community and healthcare system, developing and delivering a structured territory/KME engagement plan. Deliver internal and external medical education and medical/scientific information exchange; gather insights to support the company’s strategy and to support activities related to research/data generation.
In additional you will have project/office-based medical affairs (50%) responsibility where you will proactively contribute, enrich and execute the medical strategy in collaboration with management. Develop and deliver medical affairs projects including scientific communication material for internal and external use, congress symposia, advisory boards. Identify opportunities to generate clinical or fundamental scientific projects to address identified unmet needs and inform clinical care practice knowledge that will benefit patients in relevant therapeutic areas. Provide medical input to cross-functional projects such as health technology appraisals, special access arrangements, budgetary notification, real-world evidence and registers.
What you\’ll need to succeed
In order to apply for the Senior Medical Liaison Manager you will need to possess a higher scientific degree or medical/pharmacy qualification (Pharm D or PhD, MBChB or equivalent). You will be an experienced field medical professional with a mix of field and office-based medical affairs experience.
You will have strengths in delivering field-led projects, collaborating with cross-functional field and therapy area teams, and a high focus on scientific exchange/customer engagement and relationships.
