We are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of mechanical and electrical engineering services, specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of building services. The company prides itself on delivering high-quality solutions to clients across various sectors.
As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will take on a leadership role in preparing accurate cost estimates for complex mechanical projects. You will review and analyse project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to ensure competitive and profitable bids. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to understand project scope and requirements, and prepare detailed estimates using specialised software. Additionally, you will identify potential financial or operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will also mentor junior estimators and provide guidance to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the estimation process.
