Senior HSE Advisor – Nuclear/Defence/Civil Nuclear/Nuclear New Build -£50,000 – £50,000
Your new company
Our client is a leading engineering and maintenance service provider specialising within the Chemical, Petrochem and Nuclear sectors.
Your new role
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and line management to safety advisors within the team.
- Work closely with the existing leader to provide strategic guidance to the HSE team.
- Ensure the project aligns with regional health and safety goals.
- Support and guide project managers on all HSE matters.
- Ensure all work activities comply with company and site safety procedures, maintaining the highest standards of health & safety.
- Promote a Safety First culture, delivering toolbox talks and safety-related training as required.
- Track and report HSE metrics in line with regional requirements.
- Identify areas for improvement and develop initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Plan and conduct HSE audits, ensuring timely closeout of any actions.
- Promote safe card submission within the team, monitor all cards submitted, and follow up actions with relevant managers.
- Ensure excellent communication with project management, wider region, and client HSE representatives.
- Provide HSE support to the region as required, including travel to other sites within the region.
