Are you an experienced HR professional ready to step into a varied and impactful role? We’re supporting a Dorset-based organisation seeking a confident Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner to join them on a temporary basis for an initial 3 months contract. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference quickly, partnering with managers and delivering hands-on HR Advisory and getting involved in a range of HR Projects including Policy, Training Managers and some Change Management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Advisory & Casework
  • Providing professional HR advice to managers across the organisation
  • Managing a range of ER cases, including:
  • Long-term sickness absence
  • Performance management
  • Disciplinary matters
  • HR Projects & Change
    • Supporting and delivering HR project activity
    • Leading elements of organisational change programmes
    • Handling redundancy consultation processes in line with policy and legislation
  • Policy & Manager Capability
    • Training and coaching managers on updated HR policies and procedures
    • Supporting the implementation of new ways of working across teams

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    • Strong background in HR Advisor / HR Business Partner, Employer Relations cases and HR projects such as training managers, policy development, change.
    • Confident in managing complex ER cases – long term sickness, absence, disciplinary, performance, grievances.
    • Experience supporting or leading HR projects including change and redundancy consultation.
    • Ideally experienced in working within regulated environments but not essential
    • Ability to build credibility quickly and work independently
    • CIPD qualification

    Offer:

    • 3 month interim contract via Hays online weekly time sheets – possible scope for longer
    • Full-time hours – 37 hours, but also considered part-time – 3 or 4 days per week.
    • Hybrid working with sites across Dorset and therefore occasional travel per week to attend investigations and meet managers on site as needed.
