Hays Software Engineering are looking for a Senior Filemaker Developer to join a globally recognised entertainment business at a crucial time to assist with pushing the business forward. What you will be doing:
- Design, test, and deploy solutions within the FileMaker ecosystem
- Direct all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with the accounts team to define enhancement requirements
- Manage the ticketing support system and provide regular status updates
- Apply advanced programming techniques and implement data separation, integrate APIs (Google, HMRC, banking platforms), optimise relational databases, configure FileMaker Server (FMS), and utilise the Monkey Bread plug-in suite.
- Adopt best practices to improve data retrieval speed and efficiency
- Maintain thorough documentation and produce clear user manuals for system updates and changes
What we are looking for:
- Proficient in advanced FileMaker development, including relational database design and scripting
- Skilled in managing projects from initiation to completion
- Hands-on experience supporting Mac systems in business settings
- Deep understanding of macOS, Linux, and Unix operating systems
- Familiar with Jamf for Apple device management (a valuable asset)
- Foundational knowledge of JavaScript for front-end scripting (advantageous)
- Working understanding of network setups, cable management, patching, and Wi-Fi infrastructure (advantageous)
