Your new role
As an Environmental Planner, you will play a pivotal role in project delivery and team development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, supporting, and mentoring junior staff
- Assisting the Environmental and Planning team on a variety of projects
- Ensuring timely delivery and accountability of team objectives
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
What you\’ll need to succeed
- Minimum of five years\’ experience in the environmental sector
- Proven track record in waste management projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A relevant academic degree and progress toward chartered membership with a recognised professional institute
- Thorough knowledge of UK environmental legislation, policy, and technological solutions
- Strong project management capabilities, including budget, scope, and timeline control
- Ability to manage client expectations on sustainability-related matters
- Full, clean UK driving licence
