Senior Engineering Surveyor – Civils – Freelance Your new company Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying. Operating both in the UK and across the world, they are a leading contractor delivering projects across multiple sectors including; real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water. Your new role Working on the major highways improvement scheme in the Norfolk region, they require a Senior Engineering Surveyor to support the Chief Engineering surveyor and or the Engineering survey manager in co-ordination across all technical work streams, during each stage of a project from PQQ through to construction. Technical work streams may include but are not limited to; all engineering disciplines, design management, digital engineering, sustainability, engineering surveying, asset management and industrialisation. Other duties to include: Develop their engineering survey teams to meet project needs. Ensure that the project has the appropriate survey control network to fulfil the construction requirements. Setting out the works in accordance with the contract requirements before work is programmed to commence Share expert advice and guidance to the members of the engineering survey teams and other parts of the business related to engineering surveying and geospatial best practice. Provide a topographical survey in preparation for engineering works on site, setting out for the works, reports and measures and final survey information. Review with the engineering team that sufficient information is available and in the correct format to set out the works in accordance with the programme and to resolve any inconsistencies in the information provided including feedback on any changes made.
