Seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimise this bank\’s complex data pipelines and big data infrastructure. You will have deep experience working as a data engineer and architecting scalable data solutions/ optimising data processing systems. This role requires both technical excellence and the ability to influence architectural decisions that align with business objectives.
What you\’ll need to succeed
- Deep experience working as a data engineer (within big consultancies or financial services).
- Great expertise in designing/ building/ implementing complex data pipelines.
- Vast experience with Databricks.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing frameworks e.g Spark, Hadoop ecosystem.
- Highly experienced with cloud-based data platform AWS.
- Solid programming skills with Python, Spark.
- Demonstrated ability to engineer/ architect solutions for Big Data.
- Experienced with defining target architecture.
- Financial product knowledge e.g. assets, bonds, swaps would be desirable.
