You will be joining a leading public sector organisation that is dedicated to creating a fairer and more sustainable energy system. This organisation has a strong focus on sustainability. You will be part of efforts to promote renewable energy sources, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance energy efficiency across the sector.
This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working (one day per week in office). As a senior cloud architect, you will be working in the data, operations and engineering team, leading the design and implementation of cloud solutions, ensuring that they achieve business objectives. You will be designing cloud technology with a focus on Microsoft Azure to optimise services for expansion, security and efficiency. You will build key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally and provide technical guidance to junior team members. Within this position, you will play a crucial role in shaping and advancing technical platforms, designing, implementing and managing complex cloud solutions.
Key Skills / Experience required:
- Experience in Cloud architecture and data platforms.
- Experience in building platforms on Azure.
- Active Microsoft Certification AZ-305.
- Technology experience across modern cloud data.
- Ability to deliver a large data platform.
- Strong management experience to ensure service quality and financial value are delivered.
- Deep understanding of Azure components.
