Over the last 60 years, the consultancy has developed a valuable mix of multi-disciplinary expertise in masterplanning, environmental assessment, urban design, landscape, ecology, architecture, arboriculture, and green infrastructure. Your new role

You will join their established arboriculture team who already have repeat business and multiple ongoing projects. They are open to varying levels from Consultant to Principal grades.

You’ll work from their rural Dorking based office to provide technical advice and manage projects from conception to completion for a diverse range of clients.

Main duties could include:

  • Leading on various arboriculture surveys including Arboricultural Impact Assessments, Woodland Management Plans, Veteran Tree Assessments, Tree Hazard Assessments, NHBC Surveys, and more.
  • Report writing on these surveys.
  • Provide mitigation tactics on various arboricultural issues.
  • Give arboriculture advice to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • At least a Level 4 Arboriculture qualification/diploma.
  • Proven working experience as an Arboricultural Consultant – including project management.
  • Demonstrable experience in Arboricultural report writing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant UK legislation.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of GIS/AutoCAD (ideal).
  • PTI Qualification (ideal).
