Your new company An established multidisciplinary environmental and engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Environmental Noise Consultant to join its growing Acoustics team.

Renowned for delivering innovative solutions across major infrastructure, commercial, residential, healthcare, education and renewable energy developments, the business works with a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients throughout the UK and Europe.

Your new role As a Senior Environmental Noise Consultant, you will lead and deliver a broad range of environmental noise, vibration and acoustics projects from proposal stage through to completion.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert technical advice, manage client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy's acoustics offering.

Key responsibilities will include: Delivering environmental noise, vibration and building acoustics assessments.

Undertaking site surveys and analysing acoustic data using industry-standard software and equipment.

Producing high-quality technical reports and developing practical mitigation solutions.

Managing project budgets, programmes and resource allocation.

Leading complex projects and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.

Supporting business development through proposal and tender preparation.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Providing technical mentoring and support to junior team members.

Ensuring compliance with quality, health and safety standards.

What you'll need to succeed A degree in Acoustics, Physics, Audio Technology or a related discipline.

Significant experience in environmental noise and vibration consultancy.

Strong knowledge of UK legislation, policy and best practice guidance relating to acoustics.

Excellent technical report writing and project management skills.

Commercial awareness and experience managing client relationships.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (or a desire to work towards membership) would be beneficial.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites when required.
