Teacher of Physical and Cognitive Needs – Primary

We are working on behalf of a school who is looking for a Primary SEN Teacher to work with children with complex needs. The school caters for children with pupils with moderate to severe physical and cognitive learning difficulties and have a passionate and committed leadership team. The role is to start as soon as possible and would be to carry out full-time temporary cover till the end of the autumn term. The school are looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with children with physical difficulties and/or complex needs
  • Has recent experience working in this area that can be referenced
  • Ideally has QTS
  • The school would welcome people from a mainstream background who feels they have the relevant experience above
  • Hays Education should be able to obtain recent references that back up experience as part of their clearance process. We support all our candidates with ongoing CPD and competitive rates with SEN allowance for teaching positions.
