    Role Overview:
    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will assume full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging science lessons in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, catering to the individual needs of our students.
    Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.
  • Cater to the individual learning needs of students, ensuring all lessons are inclusive and accessible.
  • Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each student.
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, promoting the well-being and engagement of all students.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching science subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Biology) at secondary level.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) is essential, specifically SEMH and Behavioural needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
