Full-time and long-term position
Teaching Science at KS3 & KS4
We are working in partnership with an 11-16 secondary school in Bolton who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join their team for the new academic year. This is a full-time and long-term job. There is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Due to this being a long-term job, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking.
Job Description
Delivering engaging and creative Science lessons to students in Key Stages3 and 4.
Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, andassessments.
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
Contributing to the development of the department’scurriculum.
Participating in extracurricular activities and school trips.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ECT’s welcome toapply.
Recent experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
Strong behaviour/classroom management.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
