Your new company Hays Education are working with a number of schools based in Derby who are looking for a School Receptionist to join their team. The position will be from Monday to Friday, and is initially presented as a long-term temporary role with the potential to go permanent.
As a School Receptionist, you will play an integral part in maintaining the vital functions of the school that ensure it runs smoothly. Your duties may include:
- Meeting and greeting visitors to the school
- Supporting parents, staff and students with enquiries
- Directing incoming calls to the appropriate personnel
- General office administrative duties
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience of working in a school office
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
- An enhanced DBS is required for this post.
