Scheme Manager – Temp – Full time
We are seeking an experienced Scheme Manager to support our client on a full-time, temporary basis until the end of January 2025 in St. Helens.
Your new role
- Overseeing day to day operations at the scheme including all aspects of housing, tenancy, letting management and 2 direct reports of on-site staff
- Voids, lettings, allocations, sign-ups, inductions and viewings
- Managing cases of low level ASB and neighbour nuisance
- Routine health & safety checks including fire doors, alarms and updating relevant risk assessments
- Dealing with low level complaints
- Facilitating and hosting resident meetings
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience working within a social housing environment, supporting vulnerable people, ideally aged 55+
- Good understanding of the principles of housing & tenancy management and relevant legislation – understanding of H&S compliance regulations
- Ability to provide budgeting advice and budget plan with customers
- Personal resilience and ability to deal with difficult situations
- Experience of multi-agency work and case management
What you’ll get in return

- Hourly rates up to £21.65 per hour
- Option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella
- 37.5 hour per week temp contract
