Scheme Manager – Temp – Full time

We are seeking an experienced Scheme Manager to support our client on a full-time, temporary basis until the end of January 2025 in St. Helens.
Your new role

  • Overseeing day to day operations at the scheme including all aspects of housing, tenancy, letting management and 2 direct reports of on-site staff
  • Voids, lettings, allocations, sign-ups, inductions and viewings
  • Managing cases of low level ASB and neighbour nuisance
  • Routine health & safety checks including fire doors, alarms and updating relevant risk assessments
  • Dealing with low level complaints
  • Facilitating and hosting resident meetings

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience working within a social housing environment, supporting vulnerable people, ideally aged 55+
  • Good understanding of the principles of housing & tenancy management and relevant legislation – understanding of H&S compliance regulations
  • Ability to provide budgeting advice and budget plan with customers
  • Personal resilience and ability to deal with difficult situations
  • Experience of multi-agency work and case management

What you’ll get in return

  • 37.5 hour per week temp contract
