Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting a leading contractor in Wiltshire with the recruitment of a Technical Manager - Electrical to support their expanding team.

Your New Role

You will lead and manage technical discussions and oversee the design process from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring the successful and efficient delivery of projects, including managing technical aspects, resolving complex design issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards. You will achieve cross-discipline collaboration with internal and external designers and be fully conversant with a range of systems including LV and MV Power Distribution Systems, Small Power, Earthing Systems, Lighting Design, Fire alarm Design, Security and CCTV Systems, as well as Lightning protection systems.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

You will have proven experience in Electrical Design Engineering within building services and construction, a strong track record at a senior project delivery level, proficiency in design and engineering analysis software and production of specifications, as well as a strong understanding of design and build construction contracts.

What You’ll Get In Return

This role is being offered with a salary between 70,000 - 90,000 per annum with good benefits.
