Join our Hays onsite recruitment team as a Recruitment Coordinator—an integral role at the heart of our client partnership. You will support the recruitment lifecycle, maintain high‑quality data and reporting, and act as a key link between hiring managers, external suppliers, candidates, and internal colleagues. Based on site in Rushden, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across a well-established Construction industry account operating across London, Northampton, Leicester and Liverpool. This is a varied, fast‑paced role ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, confident engaging with stakeholders, and able to bring both personality and backbone to day‑to‑day interactions.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day:
- Managing the end-to-end coordination of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Liaising with hiring managers to extend workers past their end dates and gather feedback throughout the process.
- Coordinating vacancy briefing calls and working with Hays consultants and/or agency partners to support fulfilment.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for internal hiring managers, third‑party suppliers, Recruitment Consultants and stakeholders.
- Ensuring data integrity across systems and producing accurate, regular management information and account reporting.
- Overseeing time-sheet approval processes for approx. 250 contractors.
- Reviewing and supporting reporting on DBS recharges.
- Speaking with the business about reporting carried out on the account and ensuring information is clear, consistent, and timely.
- Contributing to the development of a smooth, efficient MSP service through continuous process improvements.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Strong communication ability with confidence to build relationships with senior stakeholders and challenge appropriately where needed.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- An analytically minded approach and solid working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Teams.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset, particularly when solving problems or navigating queries.
- Versatility and resilience — someone who brings attitude, personality and the backbone to handle challenges constructively.
- Experience with VMS systems such as 3SS (desirable but not essential).
- Experience coordinating offices, teams or events (also desirable but not required).
