My client is looking for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join their HR team. Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a varied, true generalist role offering exposure across the full HR life cycle. You’ll play a key role in supporting managers, driving people initiatives, and shaping a positive, high-performing culture while developing your own skills and experience along the way. 5 days per week on site.
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a trusted HR Advisor, providing expert HR guidance on employee relations, performance, attendance, and complex casework.
- Building strong relationships and quickly gaining the trust and confidence of managers and senior stakeholders.
- Partnering with the business to deliver practical, commercially focused HR solutions.
- Supporting and delivering key HR initiatives, including workforce planning, recruitment, restructuring, engagement, and talent development.
- Using HR data and insights to inform decisions, identify trends, and add real value to the business.
- Ensuring policies and practices are compliant, up to date, and aligned with best practice.
- Supporting the delivery of pay and reward activities.
- Working closely with the HR Manager to deliver the HR strategy and gain valuable exposure to broader HR leadership.
- Supporting payroll processes and ensuring accurate, timely data.
- Helping to maintain high-quality HR service delivery and support business continuity.
What we’re looking for:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working at that level).
- A solid generalist HR background, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence handling employee relations matters end-to-end.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Someone who builds credibility quickly and thrives on developing strong working relationships.
- Commercially aware, solutions-focused, and proactive in approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
