About The Role
A well-established specialist SEND school in Rugby is looking for caring, enthusiastic, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team. This setting supports children and young people with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, and complex needs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with diverse SEND needs
- Assist with personalised learning plans and adapted curriculum activities
- Support communication, sensory regulation, and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
