Hays are delighted to partner with a local public sector organisation for an initial 6-month assignment with strong temp-to-perm potential. The role involves leading complex tenders, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with UK procurement legislation.

Key duties include:

  • Delivering a varied procurement pipeline and tender exercises
  • Developing procurement strategy, policies and processes
  • Driving governance, compliance, value for money and innovation
  • Providing advice on contract management (Intend)
  • Maintaining the Contract Register and e-tendering systems
  • Supporting spend analysis, training, FOIs and procurement content

Requirements:

  • Public sector procurement experience is required
  • PA23 training preferred
  • CIPS qualified / studying towards / willing to study

Hours: Full-time (37 hours)

Location: Warwick, 2 days per week on-site
