Nursery to KS1 support
Your new company Hays Education are working closely with a local primary school in Rugby to recruit a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant for a temporary role. This full-time position covers Nursery to Key Stage 1 and is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting early learning and making a positive impact in the classroom.
You will work across Nursery, Reception and KS1, supporting teachers with daily activities, helping deliver small-group work, and contributing to a warm and engaging learning environment. This temporary assignment offers a great opportunity to gain experience in a nurturing primary setting.
Your new role:
- Support learning and classroom activities across EYFS and KS1
- Deliver small-group and 1:1 interventions as required
- Assist with phonics, early literacy, numeracy and play-based learning
- Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom space
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team
What you'll need to succeed:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience within Nursery, Reception or KS1 settings
- A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
