Our client is one of the UK's leading providers in their industry, supplying over 10,000 different product lines to their customers throughout the UK.

Your new role

Planning customer orders in the most efficient way, whilst complying with customer KPIs and drivers' working time directives. Working with both the local transport team and their sales teams. Maintaining the master data file so that it is kept up to date and relevant. Carrying out administrative and reporting duties to help the depot meet its legislative and corporate governance requirements. Responding in a timely and efficient way to changes in customer requirements. This role will keep you busy in an environment where their diverse customer range requires meticulous planning. You'll get technical by updating Excel spreadsheets, reviewing previous plans and looking for additional efficiencies. You'll be confident in seeking out support when you need it, not afraid to ask questions and suggest new ideas and ways of working.

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential you have previous Route Planner experience with a good geographical knowledge of the Central Belt, Greater Glasgow Area, Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway. Experience with Paragon routing systems is preferred but not essential.

What you'll get in return

A salary of 41,300 plus 34 days annual leave including bank holidays with an opportunity for career progression.
