The Role
As a Rota Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring services are delivered efficiently by creating and maintaining staff rotas, coordinating schedules, and liaising with staff, clients and families. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Creating and managing staff rotas and schedules.
Planning and maintaining client and staffing requirements.
Communicating effectively with clients, staff and professionals.
Managing changes to schedules and ensuring continuity of service.
Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
Supporting and covering calls when required during periods of high demand or emergencies.
About You
We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate:
Previous experience working as a Rota Coordinator or Scheduler.
Experience within the health and social care sector.
Knowledge of electronic care management or monitoring systems.
Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
A full UK driving licence.
Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota.
A willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
